Clinico History
Since its founding in 1986, Clinico Group has been deeply rooted in the health industry for over 40 years. Starting from professional audiology and optometry services, and driven by an unwavering commitment to quality of life, we have gradually expanded into sleep, health supplements, and medical aesthetics. Clinico not only operates over a hundred direct-managed locations and strategic hospital alliances across Taiwan, but has also extended its services to overseas markets including Singapore.

- Clinico Instruments presented its new proprietary brand product matrix at the COOC 2026 International Ophthalmology and Optometry Academic Conference in Shanghai, showcasing 40 years of R&D expertise and clinical integration in ophthalmology, and officially advancing toward a complete ophthalmic solution covering examination, imaging, and treatment.

- Clinico International Hearing Aid won two National Brand Yushan Awards (Outstanding Enterprise and Best Popular Brand categories).
- Koming Instruments (code 7881) officially listed on the Emerging Stock Market, marking a key milestone in advancing eye care technology toward the capital market.
- Koming Instruments was recognized as a "Happy Enterprise Gold Award" by 1111 Job Bank.
- Clinico International Hearing Aid's Clinico Sound received the National Quality Mark (NQM) certification.
- WaiSight Ophthalmology was personally awarded the "Asia-Pacific Demonstration Center" certification by the German SCHWIND CEO, symbolizing WaiSight's leading position in refractive surgery in the Asia-Pacific region.
- WaiSight Technology (Ophthalmology/Medical Aesthetics) received the Silver Award in the "2025 Happy Enterprise" selection by 1111 Job Bank.
2024
- Clinico Hearing Aid received the 7th "Potential Mid-size Enterprise Award" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
- WaiSight Ophthalmology was awarded SMART Alliance Demonstration Institute status; the physician team received SMART TransPRK 1,000/2,000 eye surgery certification; the Taipei Renai Branch won the Gold Award in the Healthcare category at the IAA London Design Awards.
- Clinico Group's Shanghai headquarters was completed, establishing a new headquarters of approximately 5,600 square meters, integrating R&D, production, GMP workshops, warehousing, display, and training functions, and establishing the "Clinico Academy" as the Group's professional education and training base.
- Clinico SleepWell received the Resmed "Annual Growth Award", representing its market penetration improvement and operational efficiency, making it one of the key strategic partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
2023
- WaiSight Aesthetics officially launched, combining with the Taipei Renai Branch to create a "one-stop" refractive and medical aesthetics surgery platform.
- Clinico Instruments became the first company in the industry to obtain Medical Device GDP certification.
- Clinico SleepWell received the Resmed "Commercial Innovation Award", demonstrating its innovative operational model and service value in the sleep apnea treatment market, recognized by the international brand.
- Coligene Biotech was officially established, marking its first foray into the biotechnology field to develop precision health products.

- Won the 29th National Panshi Award, demonstrating outstanding achievements in stable management and social responsibility.
2018
- The public welfare short film "Companionship" won Top 5 in YouTube's Annual Most Successful Advertising Videos, successfully raising public awareness of hearing health.

- WaiSight Ophthalmology was established, introducing SMART transPRK technology to open a new chapter in all-laser refractive correction.
- Clinico SleepWell was established, partnering with global leading brand Resmed to provide home sleep testing and respiratory care solutions.
- Morear was established.
- Tinbao Hearing Aid was established.

- Led the industry in introducing 3D printing ear mold technology and customized fitting processes, greatly improving clinical fitting efficiency.
- Koming Instruments was established, dedicated to introducing advanced global ophthalmic medical consumables and equipment, and providing comprehensive clinical solutions and operational support.

2014
- Talent development was highly recognized, winning the Silver Medal of the Ministry of Labor TTQS Enterprise Institution version.
2010
- Passed SGS Qualicert international service quality certification, implementing standardized service processes.
2009
- Clinico International Hearing Aid was officially established, starting from a single store and launching chain direct operations; in the same year, obtained ISO 13485 Medical Device Quality Management System certification.
2005
- Obtained Taiwan's first hearing aid medical device approval (Wei Shu Yi Qi Shu Zi No. 000197), setting an industry standard benchmark.
1999
- Enterprise strength was nationally recognized, winning the "National Biotech and Medical Quality Award".
1996
- Won ISO 9002 international quality certification, the first in domestic medical device distribution at the time.
1991
- Expanded into the Greater China market, officially extending professional medical services to China.
1986
- Founded by Chairman Lin Wen-Cheng, Clinico Instruments initially focused on representing the world's top ophthalmic and otology medical devices, and simultaneously established the "Clinico Hearing Aid" brand.

Chairman Lin Wen-Cheng has always upheld the spirit of the Confucian merchant, regarding "Professionalism" and "Integrity" as the cornerstones of the enterprise. In the early days of the company's founding, he used his forward-thinking vision to introduce world-class medical technologies, not only elevating local healthcare standards and benefiting countless patients, but also securing Taiwan's standing in the international medical device industry. From professional medical instruments to a health-guardianship ecosystem, every mile Chairman Lin has led Clinico through stems from his practice of "Faith, Hope, and Love".
For Chairman Lin, personal integrity is essential — this is the founding principle of "Professionalism and Integrity" he insisted upon from the start. Running a business requires hope, so he continuously aligns with the latest global technologies, dedicated to benefiting patients and enhancing local healthcare competitiveness. And a company must be driven by compassion, fulfilling the true meaning of "giving back to society what was taken from it" through years of philanthropic care and social responsibility.
